Well trained and socialized pets are truly a joy to have in our homes. Did you know that behavior problems are the number one reason pets are euthanized in the United States?
We periodically offer a puppy obedience school. The cost is $25 dollars for the four week session. The classes are held for one hour every Tuesday night for the four weeks. The class is focused mainly on obedience, but also offers socializing opportunities. The class is taught by on of our own asisstants Ethel Buzzard. She attended Volhard to learn how to teach classes and has been training dogs for about 20 years now. Contact the clinic for information on when the next class will be starting.
One of the other training facilities we recommend is R and M Dog Training. You can call 724-932-3355 and leave a message for Jim.
Mercer County Dog Training is another obedience school that we refer our clients to. They offer puppy classes, canine citizenship classes, and agility classes. Calling 724-962-7435 will put you in touch with Nancy Takash, and call 724-962-2554 will reach Sandy Marshall. Both will be happy to provide you with more information.
Puppy kindergarten and basic obedience classes are provided by ABC Puppy School.
